Intermediate rehabilitation focuses on rehabilitative support for patients who have suffered severe multiple injuries. This usually involves a traumatic brain injury accompanied by additional injuries. The injury patterns are complex and the treatments used are therefore equally varied. Thanks to intermediate rehabilitation care, severely injured patients can begin their rehabilitation at a very early stage.
