Neurological Rehabilitation
The Neurological Rehabilitation department mainly treats people with brain injuries. The initial effects of these often include impaired awareness, movement, speech, capacity to act and mental capabilities. Successful reintegration of such patients requires a professional support network – an interdisciplinary treatment team consisting of the rehabilitation staff, external advisers, case managers and employers.
Thanks to the project to extend and upgrade the clinic, since June 2018 staff and patients have benefited not only from the extra space but also from modern technologies and treatment infrastructure.
It has been shown that starting intensive rehabilitation therapy as soon as possible is the best way to improve long-term health prospects. We also know that taking specific measures aimed at occupational rehabilitation at an early stage greatly increases the chances of a permanent return to work.
